In order to create awareness of and deliver visitors to the Zoo I created a series of attention-grabbing, odd sized newspaper ads, a 40ft banner on the Miami Herald building, a guerilla campaign that consisted of eight 12ft crates spread throughout downtown Miami and crate-related TV and radio spots.

Weekend zoo attendance increased by more than 100% over the previous years. And on opening day, MetroZoo saw the highest single day attendance on record.
